Last night Sheri and Bob were getting ready for bed. The tiny house Sheri rented has these wonderful picture windows in the bedroom that look out into the backyard. Bob says to Sheri "There are lights on in the backyard, we should turn them off, so we don't waste electricity." Sheri replies "those are solar lights, they don't use electricity." "Al" said " Well are you sure?" "Yes, Sheri said "I am sure." "How do you know? " "Al" said quizzically, " Can you be sure the light goes off when you close the refrigerator door?"
Oy vey.... :)
This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.
