This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Well, all in all Sheri outing to her work function with Bob and "Al" went rather well. Sheri probably cheated a little and did not leave much room for Bob and "Al" to interact with her co-workers, just some quick introductions. although they had never been to a race track, "Al" was sure he had been there before.  :) Rather then focus on what might go wrong, Sheri decided to focus on taking photographs instead.
 It worked out well :)

  1. Wow, what a great picture. You really have a photographer’s eye. I am so glad all went well.
