This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Bob is looking at the digital clock in the bedroom. "Al" says to Sheri " I look at the clock allot and it is so weird that every time I look at the clock it says 8:13,  you would think there would be some other numbers in between."
(Oh my, what it must be like in his head.)

  1. Hi, I saw on tv that the doc's test for Alz's .now by having the person draw a face of a clock. The differace was amazing between a person's in the early stages and late stages and the person without Alz's at all.
