This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Bob is awake and feeling poor
too much work with power tools and more,

Al asks "what day is it,"
"Sunday" Honey .."its time for church.."

"Church" Al says "what time is that?"
Sheri pauses and takes a deep breathe
10:30 she says.. and Al responds back
"10:30 you say?" "Oh, I didn't know that..." :(

Isaiah 40:31
But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint
