This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Bob found a light switch that wasn't working
Bob and Al want to fix the light switch
Bob started fixing the light switch with Sheri home yesterday
Bob and Al want to work on the light switch with Sheri not home
Involves climbing up to the attic and running new wires
Bob thinks he can handle it,
Although, Bob can't figure out why yesterday,
He and Al did not notice that the wires were hooked up with reverse polarity...
maybe Bob can convince Al to do something else today?
