This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri feels like she kind of bottomed out this past week. She does not think there is anything in particular thing that caused it... life in general she thinks. It seems so hard to find her new road map to life. She is not looking for sympathy, it is just a self observation. We all have our journeys. Sheri is going to try to immerse herself in the Word of God, because she knows He is the way, the truth, and the light.

  1. So glad you were able to post today. I was slightly worried bec. you didn't post the past couple of days. I pray that you would be encouraged and uplifted by God's Word. Blessings and hugs from Toronto.

  2. Praying for you, Sheri. I hope the Word will encourage you as it has me. Sometimes I go on the ESV Audio website and just type in a passage and let the "man" read to me. Kinda lazy but then I can just soak in God's words; especially like to listen to Psalms.

    Love from S. Carolina,
    Kathryn

PS How is your sweet puppy?

  3. I think you're on the right path. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13. Put your burdens on Him and you will find peace.
