This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri will not make it to see Bob and "Al" this weekend. Sheri has not said much but Sir Cooper is in serious condition with pneumonia. Sheri brought home after 2 days in the animal hospital. He was on oxygen and IV fluids and is on 2 antibiotics. He is still very sick and honestly may not make it. Sheri would appreciate prayers for Sir Cooper.. and since he is suppose to be a companion animal for   Sheri, she would appreciate prayers for herself as well.

  3. It's just not fair that your heart must be broken yet again. Enough is enough. I wish I knew words that would comfort. Just know that I share your sorrow.
