Sheri has a meeting today, about a potential placement location. She feels like she is in a fog ... a dense, heavy, thick fog. Her chest is tight with the thickness of her fear and she cannot breathe.
Somebody please pause, praise and pray because Sheri is angry and not on speaking terms with God at the moment.
This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Praying for you and believing that God is with you in every step along this very hard road that you travelling. He will carry you and will not let your foot slip. His promise is to redeem all pain and sickness. May His love and nearness comfort your heart. Praying for you, Bob, and your lovely daughters. Lots of hugs and support from Toronto.
ReplyDeleteBe calm Sheri. Hard things are never easy. Someone always has to be the adult. Remember in Texas when the boys didn't recognize you. That was the first time in the past couple of years that I felt I knew where this was going. It has come to that time. You are in charge and making the best choice for all.
ReplyDeletePraying.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate your honesty about not wanting to pray now. IT IS REFRESHING and Honest. I feel that way as well, and then feel guilty that I do.We will never understand the ways of God.
