Sheri was able to steal a tiny bit of self time yesterday. Daughter number one was able to watch Bob and "Al" for a couple of hours. Sheri grabbed her camera and bundled up and headed to her favorite park. She has not been able to get out for several months since she broke her foot. Although it was about 19 degrees out, just breathing in the cold air and embracing the solitude gave her that little bit of lift she needed to step back into this Alzheimer world she lives in. Sheri needs to remember to take these solitude breaks more often.

Thank you for your photos, Sheri. They are uplifting.
ReplyDeleteI agree...photos are uplifting! But how can they be as a cold winter scape? It's because you, Sheri, are sending your love and creativity to all to enjoy. Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful. I'm so glad you had an opportunity to spend some quiet time in the outdoors. Renewal is necessary.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, glad you got some time to yourself for creativity and rejuvenation! That is much needed for the caregiver. Peace to you in the new year.
