This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Bob's injection in his back did not help much. He is still in a lot of pain and not moving very well and there is is so little "Al" can do unsupervised. Poor soul, keeps asking Sheri if  "he" can get anything for her. Sheri thinks that is very sweet of him to ask, but she wishes he would stop saying it. How can an innocent statement like that upset her so much? He said it probably 20 times yesterday, to be honest Sheri wants to scream at the top her lungs " YES, YOU CAN GET BOB BACK FOR ME!" She knows it not his fault, sometimes she just can't deal with it all.

Romans 12:12

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
