This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Nothing's going to rob her joy, nothing's going to rob her joy, nothing's going to rob her joy.  :)

  1. Sheri - do you have someone to mind/sit with Bob for the wedding events? A good friend or maybe someone from Bob's "work"? Someone to be close by him so that you can fully mingle and be with everyone at the wedding. Someone to escort him to the men's room, and maybe take him home early if the events of the day become too much for him or exhaust him. Like an extra pair of hands for you. You don't have to post this comment, I didn't know how else to contact you. I hope you and your family have a wonderful day. May there be joy and happy memories for everyone.
